Rules and Regulations of the School
Discipline is the foundation of success at Brindhavan Higher Secondary School. To maintain an orderly, respectful, and academically focused environment, all students are expected to follow the school’s rules and regulations.
Academic Discipline
- Students must carry the necessary textbooks, notebooks, and stationery as per the timetable each day.
- All assignments and homework should be completed regularly and submitted on time.
- A minimum of 75% attendance is compulsory for eligibility in examinations.
- Students should bring their school diary every day to record homework, notices, and instructions.
Uniform and Appearance
- Wearing the school uniform neatly and regularly is mandatory.
- Students must report to school on time every day.
- Proper grooming, including polished shoes and neat hair, is expected.
Behavior and Conduct
- Students should maintain discipline, respect, and politeness towards teachers, staff, and fellow classmates.
- Carrying valuables, gadgets, or expensive items is strictly prohibited. The school will not be responsible for any loss.
- Unruly behavior, use of foul language, or disrespect will invite disciplinary action.
- Parents/guardians are not permitted to enter classrooms or the staff room during school hours.
Parent Responsibilities
- Parents are expected to pay school fees on time without reminders.
- Suggestions from parents are welcome, but all enquiries should be made at the school office or in writing.
- Parents should encourage children to complete assignments and take an active role in their academic progress.
